Typical Day

Normally my day starts around 8:30am and ends whenever my work is done, but I usually spend between 60 to 70 hours/week at the office. I don't really have a typical day, but most days I spend my time taking calls, attending meetings, and preparing analysis and presentations (or "pitches" as they are commonly called). Most days I will work on a variety of transactions across a broad spectrum of industries so there are times when it is a challenge to juggle all the deliverables. However, the variety and pace of the job is what makes it enjoyable and interesting.

As an Associate Director, I typically work in a team with a senior individual (Director or Managing Director) and a junior individual (Analyst or Associate) to execute transactions or pitch ideas to clients. The team works closely together to ensure that we provide the best possible service to our clients.
