Career Path
After finishing my Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta, I spent a few years working in various roles for an oilfield services company. During this time I developed a keen interest in corporate finance and knew that I would ultimately have to pursue an MBA to further my skill set.
I joined Scotia Capital in 2006 after completing my MBA at McMaster University. A major highlight of my MBA experience was spending two co-op terms working for Scotia Capital prior to graduation. One of the things that I enjoyed most about my time as a co-op student here was the opportunity to interact with clients and work on live transactions. It’s great to be a part of a strong, supportive and productive team here at Corporate Banking. My decision to work at Scotia Capital following graduation was largely based on the quality of the people that I work with.
