Career Path
I graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 2007 with an Honours Business and Administration degree with distinction. During my last two years of university, I began to develop an interest for finance and decided to pursue a career in this field. For my first summer internship, I was a sales analyst on the Equity Derivatives desk at a European bank’s office in Hong Kong. The summer term confirmed my interest in finance, hence I decided to interview for a full-time investment banking position. I was impressed by Scotia Capital’s commitment toward the recruiting process and employee development, and gladly accepted the opportunity to join the Scotia team full-time.
