Position Highlights:
Corporate Banking, a division of Scotia Capital, is involved in the relationship management function and is responsible for all credit-related activities of our clients. These responsibilities include identifying opportunities, structuring appropriate solutions, managing the credit process, and negotiating the credit documentation.
As a co-op Analyst, you will assist in providing high quality account management support and will assist with the credit adjudication process through participation in the preparation, analysis and structuring of transactions.
Requirements:
- Highly motivated students with some relevant business experience
- Exceptional financial, accounting and computer skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work.
- Financial modeling skills are an asset
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing credit and financial information
- Compliance monitoring & reporting
- Researching industry and market data
- Completing credit applications
- Performing due diligence and risk analysis
